Together they write the final chapter on the powerful cartel behind the terror and the vicious leader who had the misfortune of taking on the partnership of Madison and Springfield!
The operation comes with both a physical and emotional cost however. Alex's bold assistance in the rescue brings into clearer focus the risk Skye is taking by loving him. She is tortured by nightmares of what will happen to her heart if she stays in a relationship with Alex. Her love pulls her in one direction; her fears in another. In the end, it is her courage and her desire that move her toward her destiny.

Middle book in series. I am not a pilot so I can't verify technical accuracy--but I didn't care. Action. Fast paced. Romance. Suspense. As an avid action/adventure/suspense thriller reader, this was one of my faves. Ok, just how much abuse can one woman take? But then again, it IS fiction.I was compelled to read the other books in the series, and while they were good, this one was the best!

This is a generic sort of who-dunnit with the twist that the principal character flies airplanes. On that level, it succeeds quite well. The major flaw would be apparent only to a real pilot as the author, who is reputed to be a real pilot, in fact reveals very poor knowledge of airplanes and flying. But given that minor flaw, it is a good read.
